Modi breaks his silence on Vadra with a taunt

Breaking his silence on the allegations against Congress chief Sonia Gandhi’s son-in-law Robert Vadra, Chief Minister Narendra Modi on Saturday taunted the party saying while the entire Cabinet rushed to defend the “jamai raja”, no one came to the rescue of Porbandar MP who was caught on camera brandishing a gun at a toll plaza.

The CM was addressing rallies at Dwarka in Jamnagar district and Una in Junagadh district.

“The entire Delhi sultanate was caught in such a fear that they felt this was a big storm…a big scandal and they should do something to save him… the entire Manmohan Singh government came out in his defence,” Modi said. “When many people are killed in terror attack, entire Central government never comes out to raise its voice against terrorism…One of their spokespersons speaks and matter ends there,” Modi said. “In case of any natural disaster, we have never seen the entire government being fielded,” he said.

“This is for the first time that the entire government, all its ministers are deputed to defend the ‘jamai raja’ (son-in-law),” he alleged.

Modi said the Congress had taken no action so far against its Porbandar MP Vitthal Radadiya for brandishing a gun at a toll booth.
